Course Description

Its suggestive location makes Royal Park I Roveri unique in Europe. Surrounded by the Olympic Alps and surrounded by the La Mandria natural park, the club is a few steps away from the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale, the largest of the famous Savoy mansions. The building, of architectural and cultural importance, was constructed in 1651 for the hunting trips of Duke Carlo Emanuele II. Located at the gateway to the city of Turin, Italy's first capital, the Club strikes the perfect balance between nature and modern comfort, with easy access to Turin-Cassel and Milan-Malpensa airports.
On the territory of the La Mandria reserve, the climate is almost optimal, with very few windy days, thanks to natural factors such as latitude and altitude and the proximity to the mountain ranges. From April to October, temperatures are suitable for pleasant game activities and you can enjoy spectacular landscapes along the route.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of La Mandria Natural Park at the foot of the Alps, Royal Park I L'Oberi is one of the most prestigious clubs in Italy, host to numerous international competitions, including the Italian Open and the European Amateur Championship.
The golf course offers members, guests and tourists the unique opportunity to play on two courses designed by world-renowned architects.

*Allianz Course
Designed by architect Robert Trent Jones Senior in 1971, the year the club was founded, the course features a decidedly innovative use of bunkers and water obstacles, as well as a layout of greens and hazards that can stimulate more deliberate strategies.

*Allianz Bank Course
The second course, designed in 2006, was signed by architect Michael Hurdzan, the father of some of North America's finest courses and an international speaker on golf's impact on the environment. The collaboration was with Dana Fry, the first European pitchmaker.
