Course Description
Experience a classic coastal round at the historic Royal Pahang Golf Club in Kuantan. Established in 1964, this 18-hole links course is renowned for its scenic location, offering breathtaking glimpses of the South China Sea just minutes from Telok Chempedak Beach. While the terrain is deceptively flat, the course's true defense is the afternoon swirling wind, which provides a thrilling and unpredictable challenge that tests every club in your bag. With a blend of mature trees, strategic bunkers, and demanding water hazards, especially on the back nine, Royal Pahang is a must-play destination for golfers seeking a beautiful, traditional, and challenging experience.
Originally named ” The Kuantan Golf Club ” was formed and registered on 7th NOVEMBER 1958 with 9 holes initiatives by public works department, which initiated by the late YAM Tengku Panglima Perang Tengku Muhamad Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad CBE and then Chief Minister og Pahang, Tok Pentara Raja Tan Sri Datok Haji Yahya Bin Haji Mohd Seh.
Received recognition & royal accreditition from HRH The Sultan of Pahang and became known as KELAB GOLF DIRAJA PAHANG on 23rd March 1958

Golf Course Reservation/Usage Guideline
Please Review Before Your Round!
* Attach your name tag (English) on the golf bag prior to your round.
* Choice of your course is subject to change depending on the condition of the field.
* Depending on the golf course's operational policies and local conditions, your tee-off time may be delayed compared to your reserved time.
* Please arrive at the clubhouse at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of your golf round.
* Refunds and rescheduling are not possible if the round cannot proceed due to personal reasons.
* Golf course operating policies and on-site conditions may lead to changes in reserved tee times without prior notice, especially during the peak winter season at golf courses in Southeast Asia, where tee-off times may experience some delays. Refunds and cancellations due to this are not possible.
Rain and Natural Disasters Policy
* (ex, Southeast Asia) Golf courses usually hold rounds even in rainy season. Since it is a squall, in most cases, it continues to play after temporarily avoiding the rain. Therefore, advance cancellations and green fee refunds due to rain are not available as in Korea. Please be sure to follow the operation policy (ex, rain coupon, etc.) for each golf course after visiting the site.
